NDDYC-D provides young dancers the opportunity to explore their creativity and develop a range of performance skills. We are looking for dedicated, focused and open minded young people that are thirsty to learn more!

Our classes are designed to give young dancers the opportunity to develop their contemporary dance technique. Delivered by a company member, these dynamic sessions will help you to build strength, stamina and coordination with a particular focus on floor work and finding fluidity when moving. Challenging everyone on an individual level, this youth company is perfect for anyone looking to develop their contemporary dance technique.

​For those young dancers that are especially interested in performing and creating choreography, NDDYC-D is a great opportunity. We work in partnership with FABRIC's Centre for advanced training to provide high level contemporary dance training for young people in the East Midlands. We work towards performances, supporting the group to create original choreography. In the past we have been selected to represent the Midlands at the National Youth Dance Festival. Previous students have successfully gained places at the UK's best higher education establishments for dance.

​The sessions are open to anyone between the ages of 11-18, come along and have a go, no experience of contemporary dance necessary. We’re taking a break right now but drop us a line to register your interest!
